Supermarket Christmas 2023 opening times for Aldi, Lidl, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and more

With only 11 days until the big day arrives, the final countdown to Christmas is officially underway.

The last couple of weeks in December are a notably busy time for many shoppers as they make last minute dashes to the supermarket for all the essentials they need.

While many supermarkets across the country keep their doors closed on December 25, the remaining opening hours in the final run-up to the big day can be a little different to their regular opening hours.

That is because many extend their opening hours in the final few days before closing earlier on Christmas Eve. Some are even remaining closed on Boxing Day this year to give staff members an extended break.

To make sure that you don't get caught out without any pigs in blankets or Brussels sprouts for Christmas dinner, here is all the details on the updates supermarkets across Scotland have so far made to their opening hours.

Aldi

December 18 to 23: 7am to 10pm
December 24: 9:30am to 4pm
December 25: Closed
December 26: Closed
December 27: 8am to 8pm.
